Loyalty NZ is finishing 2021 on a high after winning the Best Brand Transformation Award at the TVNZ-NZ Marketing Awards 2021 for our work to transform the Flybuys customer value proposition, customer experience and brand.

Following extensive in-depth research and strong collaboration with key partners, the Flybuys programme was re-designed to be more relevant and meaningful to all ages and demographics offering more choice than ever before.
Members can choose to be rewarded with Flybuys Points to spend on thousands of products and experiences in the Flybuys Store, fuel discounts from Z and Caltex, or New World Dollars to save on groceries. And on top of this, members get Flybuys Extras - a range of quality-brand treats, deals and offers just for being a member.
In the 18 months since Flybuys was relaunched:
- More members are being rewarded now than ever before, with redemption increases between 35-40% YOY.
- Loyalty NZ has attracted over 140,000 new members to the programme.
- Actively engaged members are up by almost 60,000, bucking the global trend in active engagement in loyalty programmes, and
- A total of 520,000 members have now chosen a currency (Flybuys Points or New World Dollars or Z and Caltex Fuel Discounts).
